Held in one of America’s most historic cities on the beautiful coast of South Carolina is the 35th annual Charleston Cup Gymnastics Invitational!

Event Finals Session – Custom Athlete Leotard – Coaches Gift

You are cordially invited to attend the 35th Annual Charleston Cup Gymnastics Invitational to be held at the North Charleston Convention Center. Come and enjoy the southern hospitality in what Conde’ Naste and Travel and Leisure Magazines have ranked as the Number 1 place to visit in the US for multiple years in a row. Please join us as we celebrate our 35th Emerald Anniversary Meet. Last year’s Charleston Cup consisted of over 2,000 athletes from across the US. Participants have included foreign teams as well as US National Team Members. Each competing gymnast in this years’ cup will receive a commemorative Charleston Cup Leotard all registered coaches will receive a unique Charleston Cup memento.

By popular demand we will once again be hosting EVENT FINALS for USAG Levels 6-10 as well as Xcel Gold, Platinum, and Diamond with an additional set of custom awards for the athletes and an opportunity for the team coach to earn a cash prize based on the total number of athletes they qualify and that compete at the event finals competition. Please note that the ENTRY DEADLINE is December 8th, 2023, however for the last several years the meet has filled by early September. In order to provide the highest quality meet for you and your athletes, all entries will be accepted on a first come basis. No refunds of any type after January 8, 2024. Substitutions or level changes will be accepted on a space available basis.

Levels

USAG Women’s Developmental Levels 1 through 10 and XCEL Bronze through Sapphire.

Judges

All sessions of the Charleston Cup are judged by NAWGJ Brevet, National and Level 10 rated officials.

Awards

All sessions will be divided in 3-4 equal age groups based on birthdays with 50% of places awarded for event and AA. Event and all-around winners will receive our custom Charleston Cup medals. Team awards will be given to the 1st – 3rd Place Teams in each level.

Event Finals

We will take the top 2–3 of event finishers from all age groups combined from each event and each session to event finals. The number of qualifiers from each session is based on the total number of sessions for that level for a total of 6 gymnasts per event per level.

Entry Fees

Levels 6-10/Open, XCEL Gold-Platinum-Diamond: $ 140.00

Level 3-5, XCEL Bronze and Silver: $ 125.00.

Levels 1-2: $ 110.00

Team Entry Fee: $ 75.00 per level – top three scores

Registration

Registration and for the 2024 Charleston Cup is an easy two-step process:

Step 1 is making the Reservation on the USAG Reservation System

Step 2 is making the Registration payment/deposit on MyGymMeet.com.

MyGymMeet.com is integrated with the USAG Reservation System Once you have registered your athletes in the USAG Reservation System for the 2024 Charleston Cup, you will receive an email from MyGymMeet.com with instructions on how to complete your payment. You can either pay a deposit with (E-Check) or your total entry at that time. If you need to make level changes, scratches and or additions to your entry please do so ONLY in the USAG Reservation System as it will automatically update the MyGymMeet.com Roster and the balance due or the refund. Please remember only scratches received in the USAG Reservation System prior to January 8 will be refunded. After that Jan. 8th all change requests needs to be emailed to CharlestonCup@gmail.com and they will be accepted on a space available basis only. Please indicate in the Note Field on MyGymMeet.com if any of your athletes are High School Seniors and double check your roster the week before the deadline date to ensure that it is up to date. No paper entries or mailed deposits can be accepted. All entries must go through the USAG Reservation System and payment through MyGymMeet.com.
